Donations to Community Cupboard 💛

  • The Birth & Baby Community Cupboard runs entirely on the generosity of local families. If you have newborn–1‑year‑old items your little one has outgrown, we’d love to receive them.

The Birth & Baby Community Cupboard runs entirely on the generosity of local families. If you have newborn–1‑year‑old items your little one has outgrown, we’d love to receive them.

    Donating is simple:

    1. Choose a Drop‑Off Point

You can donate at any of our collection points. Get in touch for your closest one!

    2. Prepare Your Items

Before donating, please make sure your items are:

    • freshly washed

    • clean and stain‑free

    • safe and in good working condition

    • something you’d happily pass on to a friend

    3. Pack Your Donation

Place your items in a bag or box and label them if possible (e.g., “0000–0”, “Swaddles”).
This helps our volunteers sort and restock quickly.

    4. Drop Off

Simply place your items in the donation tub at your chosen location.

If you have a larger donation or need help, you can request a pickup - we’re happy to help!

  • We gratefully accept:

    • Baby clothing (0000–1 year)

    • Swaddles, blankets, and sleepwear

    • Bottles (sealed only)

    • Baby carriers

    • Small toys (wipeable)

    • Nappies (unused)

    • Bath items

    • Maternity basics

  • For safety and hygiene reasons, we cannot accept:

    • Car seats

    • Used teats

    • Broken, stained, or mouldy items

    • Large furniture

    • Expired or unsafe items

    • Perishables

  • All items in the Community Cupboard are free.

If you’re in a position to make a small financial donation when you drop off or take items, it helps us restock essentials and keep the cupboard running — but it’s never expected.

  • If you’re unsure about an item or need support, reach out anytime.

We’re here to make donating simple and meaningful for everyone.
