Birth & Baby Community Cupboards – How This Rack Works

This Community Cupboard rack is here for any family who wants baby essentials. Everything on the rack is free (but please leave the rack, hangers, signage and baskets).

We collect preloved baby items from the community and redistribute them.
Give what you can. Take what you need. No judgement. No paperwork.

Who can take items? Anyone. It’s that simple.

What can I take? What ever you need.

Do I have to ask anyone? Absolutely not.

How doI use the rack Take what you need, give us a small financial donation via the link below - but only if you are able.

What you might find here:

  • Baby clothes

  • Blankets and wraps

  • Nappies (when available)

  • Wipes and small care items

  • Other baby essentials, depending on donations

  • We cannot redistribute car seats, capsules, bassinets, cots and a few other items - our insurers said so…

Hi, I’m Katie.

I am lucky enough to have a constant flow of quality hand me downs — barely worn clothes, wraps, prams, feeding supplies for my babies. Because when you have a mum community, you don’t buy everything. You share. You pass things on. You say, “Don’t buy that — I’ve got one, you can have it.” The Community Cupboard creates that community for those who don’t have it.

We collect quality donated baby goods and redistribute them — completely free — to the mums who need them. No forms. No referrals. No gatekeeping.

And it’s working. Our community of mums is showing up in a big way. What I need now is support to scale. And to ensure this can reach every young parent who needs it.

I believe in my soul that no mum should feel alone in the hardest season of her life. I believe that the weight of motherhood is made so much lighter with community connection and that as mums most of us have an inherent and deep rooted desire to support one another.
